An exciting opportunity has arisen for two electrical maintenance engineers to join a FTSE 250 in the process industry. Due to a recent retirement after many years service, huge on site investment and multiple projects my client is seeking two professionals to complete their successful technical support team on days.

As a maintenance engineer you will provide engineering assistance for the factory and the operations department to ensure the efficient running of production machinery (Process and packaging) and that the site continues to function as required. Reacting quickly and efficiently to repairs whilst minimising down time is a clear objective. This will be supported by PPM and an ability to logically fault find and repair. You will also be heavily involved in all capex and improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintenance and engineering activities in a continuous process environment.
Maintenance and fault finding on all production equipment.
Maintenances on process equipment
Installation, maintenance and improving Engineering systems.
Defining, specifying and delivering improvement projects on time and in full.
Developing a CMMS by optimising planned preventative maintenance and condition based monitoring systems.
Responsible for effective RCA and implementing robust countermeasures for engineering, maintenance and production losses.
Supporting the creation and development of departmental systems to World Class Manufacturing standards.
Support and create initiatives to apply a TPM/WCM strategy.
Involvement in continuous improvement projects in both engineering and production.
Ensure that PPM schedules are completed to ensure system and machine performance are optimised.

In order to be effective in this position you will need to remonstrate the following skills & experience:

Time served electrical Engineer
Ideally you will come from an industrial, manufacturing or process related organisation.
Ideally you will have 17th or 18th Edition although training can be provided.
PLC finding experience.
