We are currently looking on behalf of one of our successful engineering clients for an experienced Fabricator to join their expanding team.
Applicants must have experience in MIG, TIG, aluminium and stainless steel welding.
Salary to be discussed on interview and is experience dependent.

Contract Type: Permanent
Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 8am -4.30pm additional overtime may be available dependent upon demands of the company work schedule.
A Fabricator is responsible for fabricating and assembling products using a range of techniques and materials in line with all internal production requirements and quality standards.
Ensuring all fabrication tasks are completed safely and adhering to company Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
Accurately reading & interpreting engineering drawings from AutoCAD and completing dimensional inspections prior to welding.
Metal Fabrication using both MIG and TIG welding techniques. Performing gas cutting as required. Fabricate and weld stainless steel and aluminium.
Ensure all work is carried out to exact tolerances and to a high standard of quality.
Safely set up jigs and construct assemblies.
Operating other machinery and hand tools as and when required.
Carrying out routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and production environment.
Ensuring all operating conditions are correct and safe before commencing manufacture.
Ensuring all appropriate PPE is utilised at all times, it is the employee’s responsibility to report to management if PPE is not available.
Maintaining accurate records of production and quality assurance, and any other operational data as requested by the Production Manager.
Highlighting and communicating any faults which may arise and potentially cause delay to production or compromise safety.
Operate a forklift truck and crane safely if required and adhere to the company’s materials stock management system.
Protects organisation’s value by keeping information confidential.
Promote own professional development by attending any training courses relevant to the job role.
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to form professional relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers and external contacts.
Good organisational and communication skills, ability to work to independently and part of a team. Expected to show initiative, enthusiasm and dedication to the role and the company.
