Time Recruitment are working with Independent Commercial Insurance Broker based in Bolton. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join their specialist insurance schemes team as an Account Handler. The ideal Account Handler will need experience within Commercial Insurance and a solid understanding of the market

Duties & Responsibilities:

– Handling of renewals, mid-term amendments for a bank of existing clients

– Development of new business

– Achieve and maintain a high level of customer service

– Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and insurers

– Discussing and assessing clients’ current and future insurance needs

– Keep up-to-date with changes in the both the Insurance Industry

– Preparing presentation of terms by Account Executives on larger cases


– Minimum of 5 years’ experience required within commercial insurance

Key Skills

– Good verbal and written skills

– Excellent attention to detail

– Computer literate in word, excel and outlook

– Confident negotiation skills

– Excellent time management

– Ability to work well within a team
