Operations Team Leader
Salary to £17,500 – Chorley, Lancashire
We are currently supporting our established client with the recruitment of a Team Leader for the Operations team near Chorley. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to further their knowledge and gain leadership skills in a fast moving environment.
This role is reporting directly to the Operations Manager, it is a key cog in the operations team and is required to lead, manage and motivate the team in order to provide a first-class service to all customers.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
“To lead, manage and motivate the team.
“Monitor and maintain service levels by effectively managing the work flow.
“Ensure service level and targets are met on a daily basis.
“Ensure team targets and key performance indicators are met on a daily basis.
“Monitor and maintain quality and productivity targets.
“Complete regular coaching and training for new and existing staff.
“Provide support and assistance to the team to help and develop their skills and knowledge.
“Take ownership for resolving day-to-day team issues.
“Hold regular meetings to ensure effective communications to the department.
“Lead by example in areas of leadership and integrity, steadiness under pressure, commitment and time management.
“An outgoing personality, conscientious with an eye for detail.
“A positive attitude with the ability to keep an open mind.
“An eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
“Proactive with a drive to make things happen.
“Excellent communication skills.
“Excellent organisational skills.
