My Client is a wholesale distributor of caravan accessories to the touring caravan market. Having been 40 years on the market they have utilise their wealth of experience and extensive knowledge of the leisure trade both in the UK and throughout Europe. With their complete range numbers over 4300 different accessories and spares enabling dealers to have a ‘one stop warehouse’ for their everyday needs.
Based from Their site in Hyde, Stockport they are looking to recruit an experienced Order Picker. Duties of the role will involve picking order print sheet from warehouse printer and physically pulls inventory from the shelves to ensure accurate delivery of warehouse products, packs orders, including shrink wrapping contents onto pallets while ensuring orders are accurate and records of inventory are kept up to date for a smooth flow in warehouse operations. There will also be other associated duties that will be instructed by the Warehouse Manager with full training being provided on site.
Candidates will have previous warehouse and order picking experience and will also be able to demonstrate excellent literacy and numeracy skills. Candidate must also have a good attention to detail and be able to stay on feet for long periods of time. Candidate must have an ability to work as a part of the team and be self-motivated and independent at times.
Working hours will be Monday – Thursday between 8:00am – 4.45pm and Friday between 8:00am – 3:45pm.
Candidates will be entitled to two 15 min breaks and a 45 min lunch break.
The working week is set at 39 Hours but candidates will be expected to work overtime in busier periods with a start time of 07:00am. Hours worked in Bank Holiday period will be paid as double.
