Our client are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Roaming Project Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the fit-out projects of ASDA, M&S and other retail shops nationwide. The role will require you to travel frequently to different locations to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards within the given timeframe and budget.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the entire fit-out project from inception to completion, ensuring that it meets the requirements of the client. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery. Provide regular progress reports to clients and senior management. Ensure that project costs are monitored and kept within budget. Manage and lead a team of contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that they deliver their respective parts of the project on time and to the required standards. Provide technical guidance to contractors and suppliers as needed. Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to on site.
Qualifications:
A degree in construction management or related field. At least 5 years of experience in managing fit-out projects for retail shops, preferably for ASDA and M&S. Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and people management skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
The salary for this role is experience dependant, with the client knowing the going rates currently. There will also be a package including car allowance as this is a permanent position.
