Duties & Responsibilities

Project Planning and Coordination: The site manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of all activities on the construction site. This includes developing a detailed project plan, setting milestones, and ensuring that all tasks are executed according to schedule.
Resource Management: The site manager is in charge of efficiently allocating and managing resources on the construction site. This involves coordinating with suppliers, monitoring material and equipment inventories, and ensuring that resources are utilized effectively to meet project requirements.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring the health and safety of all workers on the site is a crucial responsibility of the site manager. They must enforce safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and address any potential hazards or risks promptly to maintain a safe working environment.
Quality Control: The site manager is responsible for maintaining high-quality standards throughout the construction process. They must oversee inspections, monitor workmanship, and ensure that construction activities are carried out in accordance with industry regulations and project specifications.

Requirements for the role:
5+ years at Site Manager level
Based in or local to Barrow In Furness
Construction, Refurbishment experience
Ran projects up to £1.5M
Strong Health & Safety background
Strong IT Skills
SMSTS and First Aid Qualified
