Salary: £29,960 – £35,643pa (up to £16.32ph) + Paid Breaks + £1000 Welcome Bonus

Staff Nurse required for one of the largest independent healthcare providers is currently seeking a Staff Nurse for one of their many homes in the area of Stoke Heath, Bromsgrove, not far from Worcester. The facility needs an experienced and assertive Staff Nurse to join it’s already thriving and long-standing clinical team; the provider has won awards for being one of the top care providers.
The facility is of medium size with 45 beds, mostly residential but with some palliative, general nursing care and dementia nurse care split between 2 separate units ensuring the unit sizes are manageable and skill mixing is done effectively.
The site consists of two floors separating the residential section from the nursing and has a multi-faceted team in place on its residential side compromising of care managers and care practitioners, the CQC standards are excellent and reputation of the home in the local community is thriving.
You will be supported by a long-standing home manager and developed by your Clinical Unit Manager and Deputy Manager alongside being supported by your nurse colleagues.
You will complete a lengthy week long supervisory induction and a weeklong classroom-based induction and will be promoted to complete your dementia champion qualification or dementia mapping course if interested in the dementia unit, you will also be endorsed for any clinical upskilling required and your NVQ level 4 or 5 in management if you wish to pursue this.
The site has only the best multi-disciplinary team; working in conjunction with the CCG, with clinical trainers, clinical auditors, a clinical services manager, several unit managers and a home manager you can be assured you will be supported whilst on shift; you will also have a staff liaison manager and an area manager who looks after staff wellbeing.
