Position: Deputy Nursing Home Manager
Location: Wimbledon, South West London
Qualifications: RGN, RMN or RNLD
Salary: £41,000 + excellent benefits + £1000 welcome bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (Fully supernumerary)
One of the UK’s largest independent healthcare providers is currently seeking a nurse qualified (RGN, RMN or RNLD) Deputy Manager for their stunning purpose-built nursing home based in Wimbledon, South West London. This care centre is on all local bus routes and is just a few minutes from the A3 Road.
The home specialises in the provision of nursing care and has 70 beds in total. It’s a modern, well ran home with a good CQC report. It providers care to the elderly with a wide range of requirements including Huntington’s and Alzheimer’s care.
The nursing units are 19-23 beds in total, ensuring it is easily manageable with an additional staff nurse on during the day and 7 care staff assisting on shift, night nurses work autonomously but have higher numbers of support staff and a residential care night manager.
As the deputy manager, you will be support by a clinical lead, the home manager and area managers who offer support, training when needed and all the tools to enjoy a successful role.

Applicants for the Deputy Manager role should:
– Hold a current NMC registration and have the legal right to work within the UK
– Have strong leadership and clinical skillset
– Maintain a person centred approach to care
– Up to date with current practises and regulations
– Experience in leading a team
– Be comfortable with training and mentoring junior staff
