My client is a Manchester based company which provides interior support services to the airline industry.

Main duties and responsibilities:

To cover days/shift-working patterns as required to meet the demands of the operation in the receipt, storage, transfer, issuing/kitting and order shipping of all parts and materials accurately and efficiently.

To carry out Stores PI counts, line stores/KANBAN replenishment and ad hoc location inventory/asset checks effectively and accurately, as required.

To ensure Stores locations are maintained to best practice standards.

To package parts and materials in preparation for transfer/order shipping.

To ensure the accurate maintenance and completion of defined transactions and documentation relating to the ERP system and any other systems and processes in place.

To undertake on the job training where appropriate using GQCP’s, LWI’s, Training Records etc.

To ensure using safe working methods for loading/unloading and material movements.

Co-ordination with other departments (e.g. Workshops, Planning, Supply Chain, Projects, Quality Control) as directed or required to meet OTIF requirements,

To work in accordance with Quality Procedures and local work instructions relevant to Stores operations, including Health and Safety, Tooling controls, Housekeeping etc.

Undertake any other duties that may be requested/delegated from time to time by the Stores Supervisor.

Key Competencies and Personal attributes.

-Must possess good team-working & interpersonal skills.

-Ability to liaise with internal customers/suppliers (e.g. Workshops, Planning, Supply Chain, Projects, Quality Control) competently and professionally.

-Be able to demonstrate good verbal skills, numerical dexterity and written communication.

-Ideally have proven Stores/Warehouse experience; including handling a large range of parts/SKUs.

-To be able to demonstrate awareness of Health and Safety.

-Have the flexibility to work outside of normal hours when required, including weekends.

-Have the aptitude to undertake EASA Part 21 and EASA Part 145 training including Stores related/required training and defined use of the ERP (SyteLine) and related systems.

-Ability to make use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

-To be self-motivated, and able to undertake task as directed.

-To have a full clean driving license and ability to attain and maintain a Forklift Truck licence if required/requested.
