OUTSTANDING CQC REPORT
Time Recruitment are assisting a specialist nurse led provider in its search for a Unit Manager; the company was originally a health and social care provider delivering specialist training; having expanded recently and rapidly in the sector as a leading specialist in providing nursing care for those with complex needs from younger to older adults. The service is 20 beds over 2 units, one unit looks after ten adults living with complex physical disabilities who also have a mild mental health condition and the other unit supports up to ten adults living with complex physical disabilities who may also have other diagnoses and complex health needs.

Duties for Unit Manager include:
*Provide safe and effective processes for the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording and disposal of drugs.
*Review and document care plans on a regular basis.
*Positively promote the home.
*Take part in training of newly qualified nurses.
*Participate in an on-call system to support the nurse in charge.
*Support in supervision and training of new and existing staff.
*Comply with all legal and regulatory policies and procedures.
*Promote choice, independence, dignity and respect.
*Adhere to the NMC Code
