Position: Ward Manager
Location: Bury
Salary: £56,000 per annum
Contracted Hours: 40 per week

Time Healthcare are currently selecting for an experienced RMN/RNLD on behalf of an outstanding mental health provider who has been established for over 30 years and are one of UK largest independent providers in Bury.

We are looking for a skilled RMN/RNLD to work on a 13 bedded male medium secure unit. The ward provides care and treatment for men with enduring mental health needs, personality disorders, co-morbidity, and behaviours which challenge.

As a Ward Manager you will be responsible for clinical management, leadership to develop a well-established therapeutic and recovery care programme capable of maintaining safety, security, and recovery always. You will also be working alongside with other Ward Managers in the hospital when required to offer support and advice in relation to the care needs of service users.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Maintaining the highest standards of nursing, demonstrating best practices in patient care, empathy, and professional conduct.
* Supervise all clinical operations within the ward.
* Conduct multidisciplinary team meetings and ensure coordinated patient care plans.
* Regularly assess and revise policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
* Monitor and audit staff adherence to policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance.
* Set a leadership example to ensure the consistent maintenance of high clinical care and documentation standards throughout the ward.

The successful candidate must have:

* A valid NMC pin and be an RMN OR RNLD
* Experience in working within a forensic service and medium secure setting
* Robust clinical leadership and proven experience managing diverse social dynamics
* Dedication to working with individuals with enduring mental health needs, promoting a supportive and caring environment
