Our client, a leading supplier of outdoor mountain sportswear, is currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to join their team based in Salford. The successful candidates will be responsible for a range of duties within the warehouse, including the use of handheld scanners on Goods in, picking orders, unloading and loading containers, processing stock and orders, wrapping stock and pallets, and maintaining floor space and general cleanliness, housekeeping, and recycling.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have a good understanding of warehousing processes and ideally have worked with retail products in a previous role. Candidates must also be flexible with working hours, as working hours can vary.
Key Responsibilities:
* Using handheld scanners on Goods in
* Picking orders
* Unloading and loading containers
* Processing stock and orders
* Wrapping stock and pallets
* Maintaining floor space and general cleanliness, housekeeping, and recycling
* Upholding health and safety and warehouse rules
Requirements:
* A good understanding of warehousing processes
* Experience working with retail products in a previous role (ideal)
* Flexibility with working hours
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Excellent attention to detail
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08.00-16.30
