Clinical Lead Nurse
Location: Blackheath, South East London
Salary; £50,000 – £55,000 per annum (Dependant on experience) + Excellent Benefits
Hours: 37.5 full time
Shifts: 8.00am – 4.00pm, 9.00am -5.00pm or 8.00am – 8.00pm

Time Recruitment are working in partnership for a charitable organisation that is seeking a highly competent Clinical Lead Nurse to support the clinical and non-clinical team. The charity has been established for over 300 + years who pride themselves in delivering exceptional care for peoples loved ones and truly focus on enriching people’s lives. The nursing home accommodates care packages for the elderly providing personal care, nursing and dementia care. The home is located in the Heath very close to Blackheath making it very accessible to locate. The Clinical Lead Nurse will be a vital member of the team and will lead by example promoting the highest standards of care ensuring maintenance of the standards of professional bodies and requirements of regulators.

Clinical Lead Nurse Position Overview
* Promote the culture of integrity and openness, promoting improvement and learning
* Support the registered manager in the day to day running of the home
* Take overall responsibility for clinical leadership and clinical quality assurance reporting
* Facilitate and strengthen relationships within the internal team and external teams
* Take the lead on development and continuance of quality improvement and clinical governance
* Support placements of Return to Practice, Student Nurse and Paramedic practice placement processes, ensuring a working knowledge of current programme requirements
* Implement practice strategies
* Ensuring good communication between multi-disciplinary teams, residents, and families

Senior Nurse Requirements
* Be nurse qualified, with an active NMC pin
* Support and promote safe nursing care
* Comply with all safeguarding regulations and internal procedures
* To be a key member of the on-call team ensuring the shifts are staffed safely
* Be able to sign off all registered nurses competencies
* Supervise the creation of care plans – assessment and discharge
* Competent knowledge on Dementia Nursing Care and Palliative care
* Work in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
* To be empathetic and courteous to residents and their relatives

Clinical Lead Nurse Position Remuneration
* 25 days + 8 bank holidays
* Pension contribution 4%, 8% or 12%
