Location: Wigan, United Kingdom

Position Overview:
Seeking an Estimator with minimum 3 years' experience to join a dynamic team at the Wigan office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in estimating projects within the fit out, refurbishment, and decorations sectors, covering a range of project types including educational institutions, sports & leisure facilities, commercial spaces, and luxury one-off homes. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in shaping project proposals and ensuring accurate cost assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather project details and requirements.
* Analyse project plans and specifications to prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
* Research and source materials, labour costs, and subcontractor quotations.
* Evaluate potential risks and opportunities related to project budgets.
* Prepare detailed, organized, and clear estimates, proposals, and bid documentation.
* Contribute to value engineering efforts to optimize project costs.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, pricing, and market conditions.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Estimator in fit out, refurbishment, and decorations projects.
* Familiarity with education, sports & leisure, commercial, and high-end residential sectors.
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
