My Client is a large manufacturer and distributers of food in the UK. Based from their manufacturing site in Manchester, they require hygiene operative to carry out a verity of duties from general cleaning to steam cleaning lines and ensuring the site is maintained to the highest standards. This role involves some heavy lifting. Candidates will also be expect to carry out other associated duties as per instructed by the hygiene manager. - Cleaning training will be provided. - There will be supervision whilst cleaning. - Candidates will be working with a pressurized foaming unit, cleaning the walls, floors and ceilings. Scrubbing down etc. - Candidates need to take their own safety boots but additional PPE will be provided so they can work with chemicals. Candidates will ideally have experience working in a food manufacturing environment and will have prior experience cleaning and working within a hygiene team. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 11:45 - 20.45. Candidates must be flexible with working hours as they do get very busy and you will be required to work until the job has finished.
