My client is a Manufacturer of windows for commercial vehicles based in Greater Manchester.
They manufacture and distribute glass that will be used on commercial vehicles.
They require production operatives to work out of their manufacturing site in Manchester.
Duties will include working on a verity of machines assisting in producing the glass ready for distribution.
As part of the role, there will be heavy lifting involved, and a requirement to assist the managers, skilled, semi-skilled & non-skilled team members in their day to day duties.
There will also be a requirement to keep the factory clean and tidy, and to prepare glass for dispatch. Glass processing is a potentially hazardous environment, and safety must take priority when working with stock and cut sized glass.
Candidates will have experience working on industrial machines and will also have excellent communications skills as the working environment can be noisy.
The successful candidate will require transferable skills using sealants etc, anyone with a background in Plumbing will be ideal.
The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 08.00-16.00 and Friday 08.00-14.00
