Job description
The role will involve direct management of operations and production.
As the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a small team of operators to meet specific production goals set by the management team.
* Work to the daily production target of 230 IBCs per day and report on the board.
* Ensure operatives work to the breaks and get them restarted after break/dinner and manage their work rate.
* Full training of all staff when they start their career.
* Continually find solutions to problems including poor production numbers.
* Ensure that the line feed is always full and correct in line with the deliveries going out.
* Be strict and assess the quality of the IBCS coming off the production line.
* Follow our Quality Management Process and highlight any issues to management.
* Wash Bay is to always be organised and tidy - ensure you have all tools and consumables needed.
* Continually promoting teamwork throughout the workplace.
* Ensure PPE is being worn by all operatives.
* Ensure that all operatives are carrying out their job function in line with their job description.
* Manage Adaptor & material booking out system.
* Management of all overtime request.
* Be involved with both customer and internal audits.
* Environmental - understand and be responsible for our consent to discharge. Ensure the correct materials are washed together and that no H&S arise.

* Must be able to work additional hours when needed. 6 a.m. starts and weekend work.
