Location: Trentham, Stoke on Trent
Salary: £20.84 per hour + Benefits

Time Recruitment is searching for an experienced Registered Nurse for a small independent specialist dementia provider that has recently expanded and renovated in the Trentham area of Stoke on Trent.

The service offers a variety of care boasting a 22 bedded general nursing an 18 bedded general nursing with some challenging behaviours; a 20 bedded palliative care unit alongside another 30 bedded elderly/frail nursing unit. Offering small nursing units you will be supported by several nurses during your shift.

Boasting a family feel within its team; home from home environment but a highly professional approach this is a service like no other; with gold standard palliative care and therapeutic dementia care teamed stunning gardens surrounding the service, the service works to the highest standards with excellent accolades, a GOOD CQC report and a well experienced clinical management team to offer you even extra support as a Registered Nurse.

Duties for the role of Registered Nurse include:

* Care planning and assessment
* Medication management and auditing
* Therapeutic intervention and care delivery for dementia residents
* Palliative/end of life care

The service benefits from an array of consistent staff and holds an excellent reputation in the local area; with many staff working 5 + years in the service; the registered manager is nurse trained and offers excellence in clinical guidance and leadership.

The staff nurse to patient ratios are high, with day nurses being supported by 2/3 other clinicians on shift with carers providing one to one patient care; the service has a nurse qualified deputy on site also; night nurses work autonomously on shift; however the residents receive 1-2-1 patient care from nurses with a higher number of care staff.
