Position: Ward Manager
Location: Cheadle
Salary: Up to £51,393 per annum
Contracted Hours: 37.5 per week

Time Healthcare are currently selecting for an experienced Ward Manager on behalf of an excellent mental health provider based in Cheadle. Our client is a leading provider of mental health and adult social care, committed to providing exceptional services and improving the lives of service users.

We are looking for a skilled Ward Manager to oversee the Bespoke Therapeutic Unit for service users with Learning Disabilities and Autism, providing a safe environment whereby the individuals needs and requirements are at the forefront of treatment plan formulation so maximum support can be given.

As a Ward Manager you will be responsible for clinical management, leadership to develop a well-established therapeutic and recovery care programme capable of maintaining safety, security, and recovery always.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Maintaining the highest standards of nursing, demonstrating best practices in patient care, empathy, and professional conduct.
* Supervise all clinical operations within the ward.
* Conduct multidisciplinary team meetings and ensure coordinated patient care plans.
* Regularly assess and revise policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
* Monitor and audit staff adherence to policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance.
* Set a leadership example to ensure the consistent maintenance of high clinical care and documentation standards throughout the ward.

The successful candidate must have:

* A valid NMC pin
* Experience in working with Learning Disabilities/Autism
* Robust clinical leadership and proven experience managing diverse social dynamics
* Dedication to working with individuals with complex and challenging needs, promoting a supportive and caring environment
