Job description

My client based in Wythenshawe, are the UK's largest supplier of drives and controls used to automate industrial doors, shutters, garage doors, blinds and gates.

They are looking for a warehouse operative to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Job description

Responsible For: The processing and delivery of sales orders and general warehouse duties

Job Specification

* The processing of sales orders to meet the demands of the customers.

* The storage of stock in a safe and accessible manner.

* That all storages areas are clean and tidy at all times. That bin locations are accurate.

* That stock is rotated on a first in first out basis.

* Customers are delivered stock in a professional manner.

Job Responsibilities

* The processing of sales orders to meet the customers' demands.

* Ensuring that sales orders are processed accurately and efficiently

* The delivery of product to customer on company vehicle

* The checking of FLT's to ensure they are in safe working order and maintained to an acceptable standard.

* The checking of the goods received against the suppliers delivery documents to ensure paperwork quantities and type match the physically received goods

* That the goods received are undamaged.

* The checking of goods against the Ellard order for type & quantity..

* The control of issue of goods to ensure stock is rotated.

* The quality of storage to ensure that all items are easily counted.

* That there are no products of differing types stored together

* That there are no unboxed products in stock.

* That the bin location on the computer matches the physical location upon implementation

* That goods are stored in a safe, tidy and clean manner within bulk storage and shelving areas..

* To work in a safe manner at all times and in compliance with the company's policies.

* To highlight any health and safety issues to a supervisor or manager.

* Any other duties as directed by a supervisor or Manager to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the company.

The working hours are 08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday. There is a 1 hour unpaid break each day. 37.5 hour paid week.
