Legal Secretary - Conveyancing (Part-Time)
Location: Sheldon, Birmingham
Salary: £25,000 Pro Rata
Time Recruitment is currently seeking a part-time Legal Secretary to join a well-established Conveyancing team based in Sheldon. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a "can-do" attitude and strong organisational and communication skills. The successful candidate will work closely with fee earners and must possess a professional telephone manner.
Working Hours:
- 3 days per week
- Monday & Tuesday: 9:00am - 5:30pm (1-hour lunch break)
- One additional flexible day
Key Responsibilities:
- General administrative duties, including:
- Scanning
- Filing
- Archiving
- Handling telephone enquiries
- Audio typing of legal documents as dictated by fee earners (audio typing skills essential)
- Supporting fee earners with anti-money laundering checks and file closure processes
- Producing, amending, and formatting documents using firm templates in line with internal standards
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Conveyancing Secretary or Conveyancing Assistant is essential
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong client service and communication skills
- Flexible and positive approach to work
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Accurate typing skills
- Experience with SOS Connect is desirable but not essential
