Position: Deputy Home Manager
Pay rate: £55,000 per annum + Excellent benefits!
Location: Surbiton, London
40 hours per week, mainly Supernumerary hours


Exciting deputy home manager position available at a small, OUTSTANDING nursing home in Surbiton, London. With a GOOD CQC rating, the home is known for its great support and management towards both its staff and residents and caters to residents with dementia/Alzheimer's, mental health conditions, physical disability and sensory impairment. The home itself is owned by a widely known care provider with numerous care homes across the country.

Deputy home manager responsibilities:

* Ensure the home is ran efficiently and effectively
* Motivate staff and ensure tasks are correctly delegated
* Write and receive daily reports to managers and appropriate external organisations
* Deal with discharge and admissions of residents
* Adhere to the care act at all times
* Ensure all relevant risk assessments are carried out
* Ensure staff is up to date with all training and development
* Work with up to date IT technology
* Liaise with and report to home manager
* Deal with emergencies on floor
* Ensure correct clinical care is provided to residents
* Ensure CQC standards are maintained
