Based from their site in Swinton, they require a Stock controller operative to assist with various duties that will be required.

The role carries responsibility for all aspects of purchasing, goods inwards, receiving goods onto Sage system through to despatch of goods.

Main duties:

Ordering standard stock weekly from parent company

Ordering all Items including copper, bolts, packaging, plastics and metal sheets locally

Ensure goods inward stock control well organised and monitored

Receive items onto Sage system accurately and in a timely fashion

Chase late deliveries ensuring minimum impact on production and follow up until goods are received

Monitor stock oversee goods inward for large deliveries

Stock checks for high value items weekly

Manage twice yearly stock take of entire stock

Book transport daily for pallets parcels and specialist panel shipments

Arrange empty pallet returns via full trailer to our parent company

The working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00 with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break and Friday 08.00-13.00 with a 15 minute break

The working week is 39.5 Hours at £12.17 per hour with overtime paid at time and a 1/2 up until 47.5 hours, anything after 47.5 hours is paid at double time

My client also has an alternative 07:00 start with a 16:00 finish and 12.30pm finish on a Friday
