Role Overview:
Time Recruitment are working with a long standing client who are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Application Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Underwriting colleagues with their pipeline applications, ensuring a seamless and efficient process from the initial enquiry to submission.

Key Responsibilities:
* Pipeline Support: Assist Underwriting colleagues by managing and processing their pipeline applications, ensuring that all necessary steps are completed efficiently.
* Inbox Management: Monitor both your own and team inboxes for new enquiries and documents, ensuring timely responses and accurate information handling.
* Enquiry Handling: Take telephone enquiries from Brokers and direct Borrowers, providing accurate information and guiding them through the application process.
* Data Management: Accurately manage the submission process by ensuring all data entry is correctly completed, ensuring a smooth transition to underwriting. Log all new enquiries in the CRM system.
* Application Processing: Handle applications from the receipt of the pack through to submission to underwriting. Complete information on relevant systems and conduct necessary fraud prevention checks.
* Case Packaging: Package new applications by providing an initial case assessment, reviewing the borrower's Assets & Liabilities, and requesting additional information as needed.
* Pipeline Management: Proactively manage a pipeline of 50 cases, working closely with the Underwriter to meet completion targets. Ensure information is proactively requested from customers and third parties.
* Stakeholder Communication: Provide updates to customers and other stakeholders, ensuring that all required information is requested and delivered within service levels.
* System Accuracy: Ensure all data entry and system notations are accurately completed within agreed service level agreements (SLA) for all new transactions.
* Relationship Building: Maintain clear and consistent communication with brokers, introducers, customers, and colleagues to foster positive working relationships.
* Documentation Preparation: Prepare valuation, Asset Manager/Project Monitoring Surveyor, and Legal instructions for the Underwriter.

Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar role within financial services or underwriting support.
* Strong attention to detail and data management skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
