Job Title: Credit Hire Litigator

Location: Bolton

Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE

Contract Type: Permanent

We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Hire Litigator to join our growing team based in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to clients and achieving the best possible results in their cases.

As part of our expanding Credit Hire team, you will be responsible for handling a wide variety of Credit Hire claims. If you are ambitious, driven, and seeking a challenging career, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of litigated fast track and multi-track Credit Hire cases under supervision.
  • Handle a mixture of liability admitted and disputed cases.
  • Ensure compliance with court directions and orders.
  • Adhere to internal instructions and those from supervisors, ensuring timely completion.
  • Run cases efficiently with regular updates to the Credit Hire company.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hire companies.
  • Collaborate effectively with the existing team.
  • Manage cases from commencement through to trial.
  • Utilise case management and diary systems effectively.
  • Negotiate and settle cases, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

About You:

  • Previous experience in Credit Hire is essential.
  • Comfortable managing a full caseload of RTA claims through to conclusion.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the personal injury process, including costs.
  • Experience using Proclaim case management system is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of case law, the MOJ protocol, the Pre-Action Protocol for Personal Injury claims, and the CPR.
  • Knowledge and experience with key performance indicators (KPIs) such as settlements, billing, and case duration.
  • Organised, committed, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Capable of managing your own workload while maintaining high standards of work.
  • Experience handling infant approvals.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Target-driven while maintaining exceptional client care.
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
