Deputy Home Manager
Location: Cradley Heath, Birmingham
Salary: £43,000 per annum
Hours: Full time - Days only
Shifts: 9.00am - 5.00pm - Fully Supernumerary role

Time Recruitment are working exclusively with a highly regarded nursing provider in assisting the search for a Deputy Home Manager to work in a family run care home in friendly residential area of Cradley Heath. The service is currently under a new home manager and has recently achieved a "GOOD" CQC rating.

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Home Manager who is not fazed by a challenge and has excellent experience in deputy home management. We need somebody who is able deliver a high standard of resident care and drive results within the elderly care setting. The ideal Deputy Home Manager will already be working in a senior position and will be competent on all aspects of clinical governance and promoting the best delivery of safe care.

Your key duties as a Deputy Home Manager will be to:

* Support the Home Manager in the planning, directing and delivery of high-quality person-centred care.
* Liaise with the Home Manager the across services activity be able to take responsibility in the Home Managers absence.
* Direct and lead the clinical services within a nurse-led environment.
* Ensuring the quality of service meets the national minimum standards and CQC standards.
* You will be required to undertake staff reviews, team meetings.
* Develop and maintain relationships with residents, family, visitors, and colleagues.

Deputy Home Manager Position Remuneration:

* NMC pin annual fee paid for after 12 months service!

Applicants for this Deputy Home Manager vacancy must meet the following criteria:

* Qualified Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin.
* Come from a nursing home background.
* Evidence of previous experience of leading a team.
* Clinically competent in peg feeding and catheter care
* Ideally to be vaccinated unless medically exempt


The established care provider has 3 additional services across the Birmingham area; currently looking to add to their portfolio in 2023! We are looking for a Deputy Home Manager who uses the initiative who shares innovative ideas who is not afraid to manager out bad habits, we will also consider applicants who are experienced registered nurses having worked in nursing home environments for some time who now feel they have the right attributes to progress into a leadership role
