Our focus is on delivering high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects ranging from £100K to £10 million. We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach and are looking to expand our established pre-construction and estimating team.
Key Responsibilities:
Review tender documentation received to ensure all project requirements are understood.
Break down projects into packages and issue these to subcontractors for pricing.
Attend site visits and meet with different trades to gather relevant information and assess site conditions.
Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for fit-out and refurbishment projects across various sectors.
Price and compile tender returns to submit to clients.
Discuss potential projects with clients to clarify scope and expectations.
Collaborate with the pre-construction team to analyze project specifications and requirements.
Conduct thorough market research to source subcontractors and suppliers.
Prepare detailed take-offs and bills of quantities.
Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits as required.
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and pricing.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and methodologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, preferably in fit-out and refurbishment projects.
Strong knowledge of estimating software and tools.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field are preferred.
