Location: Stockport (Flexible working hours available)
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 Dependent on Experience (DOE)

About Us:
We are a dynamic main contractor with a strong reputation in the commercial, retail, and industrial sectors. Our focus is on delivering high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects ranging from £100K to £10 million. We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach and are looking to expand our established pre-construction and estimating team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review tender documentation received to ensure all project requirements are understood.
- Break down projects into packages and issue these to subcontractors for pricing.
- Attend site visits and meet with different trades to gather relevant information and assess site conditions.
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for fit-out and refurbishment projects across various sectors.
- Price and compile tender returns to submit to clients.
- Discuss potential projects with clients to clarify scope and expectations.
- Collaborate with the pre-construction team to analyze project specifications and requirements.
- Conduct thorough market research to source subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare detailed take-offs and bills of quantities.
- Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits as required.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and pricing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and methodologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, preferably in fit-out and refurbishment projects.
- Strong knowledge of estimating software and tools.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field are preferred.
