Job Advert: Lettings Administrator
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Location: Fallowfield, South Manchester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
About Our Client:
We are representing a well-established, family-run independent landlord and lettings company, specialising in student accommodation across South Manchester. Our client is seeking a professional and proactive Lettings Administrator to join their friendly, close-knit team. With a focus on student tenants, alongside some professional tenants, they are looking for someone with relevant experience to help manage their growing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing lead enquiries, including contacting applicants and scheduling property viewings
- Conducting property viewings for prospective tenants
- Processing tenant applications, including conducting credit checks for professional
tenants
- Completing all necessary paperwork, including guarantor details and tenancy agreements
- Overseeing tenant check-ins and move-ins, ensuring a smooth process
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency with technology, including property management software and virtual viewings
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Previous experience in the lettings industry, ideally within student accommodation
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner
- Strong administrative abilities and attention to detail
