Local Service Manager Position
Salary: £40,102.32 to £42,213.00 per year + benefits
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Time Recruitment is thrilled to collaborate with a well-respected, not-for-profit care provider that delivers services across the UK in care homes and supportive living environments. The award winning care group are currently looking for a Local Service Manager to lead a small care home focused on supporting individuals with learning and physical disabilities in Swindon.

In this role, the Local Service Manager will primarily operate from the care home while also overseeing two supported living services in the area. These facilities cater to clients in residential, learning disabilities, and physical disability settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the overall service delivery by managing the team and collaborating with the Area Service Manager
Build and maintain relationships with partners, key stakeholders, and external agencies
Ensure effective service delivery and meet key performance indicators (KPIs)
Oversee financial performance and manage the budget
Handle recruitment, staff performance, and development
Maintain flexibility in working hours to meet service needs
Ensure health and safety compliance within the service

Skills and Experience:

The Local Service Manager will have proven managerial experience in a similar service setting, with strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure
Compassionate, dedicated, and hands-on in supporting service users
Experience in personalized support, fostering opportunities for personal development
Proven ability to engage effectively with statutory and voluntary partners
A valid driving license is essential, as travel is a requirement of the role
