Job Overview:
Time Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled and experienced MIG Welder with expertise in aluminium and steel welding for our client based in Stockport. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG welding, specifically with aluminium/steel materials and be able to produce high-quality welds for a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to grow with the business too. Duites of the role will include:
Perform MIG welding on aluminium components, ensuring high-quality, strong, and durable welds.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements and specifications.
Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and adjusted for optimal performance.
Maintain clean and safe work practices in compliance with health and safety standards.
Inspect completed welds for quality and precision, conducting necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
Work closely with the production team to meet project timelines and production goals.
Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of welding equipment and tools.
Continuously improve welding techniques and learn about new methods and materials.
The successful candidate must:
Have at least 2 years experience welding experience
Be able to interpret engineering drawings
Be a team player
Be an effective Communicator
