Nurse Unit Manager

Location: Stoke on Trent (ST4)

Salary: £25.00 per hour + paid breaks + paid handover - £50,050 per annum

Days - 38.5 hours

 

Time Recruitment is searching for an experienced Senior Nurse/Clinical Lead to work as a Nurse Unit Manager for a small independent specialist care provider who have been operating for 5 years; this modern service offers luxurious grounds; a good CQC report and high standard level of care with unmatched staffing ratio's!

This award-winning service boasts excellent staff nurse to patient ratios with 4 nurses on days and nights alongside CHAPS and high number of care staff; your role as a Nurse Unit Manager would be to oversee a 26 bedded nursing unit.

 

Duties for the role of Nurse Unit Manager:

 

- Working part supernumerary and part nursing to ensure oversight of the unit

- Promote evidence based practise

- Auditing and medication spot checks

- Management of the team, skill mixing and rota management

- Working with the senior management team to ensure compliance on the unit

- Promoting person centred care and advocating for the residents
