PC and Laptop Repairer

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30

Job Description:

Our client, based in Heywood, is seeking a skilled and experienced Repairer to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on repairing and refurbishing PCs and laptops, ensuring high-quality standards for resale.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnosing and repairing faults in PCs and laptops

Installing and upgrading hardware components

Conducting thorough testing of equipment to ensure functionality

Booking in IT equipment and conducting data wipes

Performing minor repairs and hardware upgrades

Assisting in general warehouse tasks, including order picking, stock management, and maintaining a clean workspace

Handling loading and unloading of palletised goods

Participating in regular stock counts and quality checks

Requirements:

Strong interest in IT technology and computer hardware

Previous experience in repairing and testing PCs and laptops

Basic knowledge of MS Office applications

Excellent verbal and written English language skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Prior experience in the electronics industry is advantageous

IT literacy, including proficiency in warehouse management systems

Previous warehouse experience

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
