Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Office based in Northampton, Site Visits and Home Working

Salary: £50,000-£55,000 per annum

Sector: Shelving, Manufacturing, Installation, Fit out

Job Description:

My client is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Project Manager to join their team.

The main clients are food retail & supermarket projects.

Responsibilities:

- Run projects from order to delivery, ensuring operational and service excellence.

- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, design team, installation team, and repeat contractors.

- Communicate with the Account Manager to take detailed briefs and clarify specific project requirements.

- Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives, within scope, on-time, and on-budget.

- Create and maintain store layout breakdowns, capturing and updating changes and revisions in a timely manner.

- Co-ordinate internal resources and installation teams.

- Manage, maintain, and update all project documents in the customer shared folder, highlighting change and revision control.

- Ensure resource availability and allocation, understanding and sharing the technical feasibility of projects.

- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, reporting and escalating to management as needed.

- Update account forecasts and track key account metrics throughout the project duration.

- Liaise between customers and internal teams to track progress and delivery timelines.

- Supervise internal project changes and prototyping.

Key Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management in a fast-paced retail environment.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict attention to detail.

- Strong commercial knowledge and understanding of profit drivers.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook).

- Working knowledge of drawings and blueprints.

- Experience with MRP/ERP systems.

- Ability to generate precise store layout breakdowns.
