Registered Manager - Children Learning Disabilities

Monday to Friday working pattern with on-call duties

Salary ranges from £42,000 + Bonus Scheme

Time Recruitment are working with a well-established highly reputable Residential Service for Children in Wythenshawe who are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager.

The team in Wythenshawe use the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) model to support children with complex needs, learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders and behaviours that challenge. PBS is a person-centred approach to supporting people with a learning disability.

As the Registered Manager, you will be supported by two Deputy Managers, a therapist attached to the home, and a PBS Practitioner to ensure the needs of our young people are safely met. This includes developing their independence and life skills, implementing evidence-based interventions, and using PBS plans to reduce behaviours of concern and improve quality of life.

Must Have's

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)

* Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)

* Full UK driving license

* At least 1 years' team management experience and 2 years' experience of residential services

* Able to build and maintain trust and rapport with children and staff

* To be a positive role model

* Ability to write clear and accurate reports

* Happy to undergo an enhanced DBS certificate upon appointment

Nice To Have's

* Financial management skills or experience

* Ability to deliver training

* Experience of family placement services

* Experience of working with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours
