Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a positive impact on the lives of elderly individuals? We are currently seeking a skilled and empathetic Registered Nurse to join our care home team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care, support, and medical assistance to our residents in a warm and welcoming environment.
This Healthcare provider have 4 homes in the group and offer a new type of care, embracing the fact that the best thing for every resident is to be at home, not in a home. This brand new, purpose built service located in Wigan will provide Dementia Care, Nursing Dementia Care, Residential Dementia Care, Nursing Care, Reablement Care, End Of Life Care and Support, Respite Care and Support and Day Support - Experience & Engagement Days for 70 people in beautiful surroundings with family at the heart of everything.

Responsibilities for the Nurse include:
*Provide compassionate and holistic nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
*Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess the overall health status of residents.
*Assist in the coordination and delivery of various therapies, treatments, and medical procedures.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents' medical records and progress notes.
*Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the care home team to ensure a positive and comfortable living environment.
*Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families during challenging times.
*Uphold and promote the highest standards of infection control and resident safety.
*Stay updated with the latest nursing practices, regulations, and advancements in elderly care.

Requirements for the Registered Nurse include:
*Valid and active Pin
*Experience working as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting, preferably in a care home or geriatric care facility.
*Excellent clinical skills, including medication administration, wound care, and health assessments.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
*Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
*Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for caring for the elderly.
*Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and best practices in elderly care.
*Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
