Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with referrers such as estate agents and brokers
Source your own work while also managing leads and panel work provided to you; an established network of contacts is ideal, but not essential
Manage a caseload of residential property transactions independently
Provide expert legal advice on property-related matters
Draught, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents
Conduct property searches and investigations to identify any potential issues
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties
Oversee the exchange of contracts and the completion of property transactions
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all transactions
Keep clients informed about the progress of their property transactions
Resolve any legal issues or disputes arising from property transactions
Lead and mentor your team (pod) to ensure exceptional client care
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licenced Conveyancer, registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX), or The Council for Licenced Conveyancers (CLC)
3-5 years' experience in fee earning
Strong knowledge of property law, conveyancing processes, and property transactions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in conveyancing software and legal databases
Attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation
Strong time management and organisational skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Client-focused, with a dedication to delivering exceptional service
