Job description
Position: Residential Property Solicitor
Location: Hybrid (Cheadle)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with referrers such as estate agents and brokers
- Source your own work while also managing leads and panel work provided to you; an established network of contacts is ideal, but not essential
- Manage a caseload of residential property transactions independently
- Provide expert legal advice on property-related matters
- Draught, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents
- Conduct property searches and investigations to identify any potential issues
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties
- Oversee the exchange of contracts and the completion of property transactions
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all transactions
- Keep clients informed about the progress of their property transactions
- Resolve any legal issues or disputes arising from property transactions
- Lead and mentor your team (pod) to ensure exceptional client care
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licenced Conveyancer, registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX), or The Council for Licenced Conveyancers (CLC)
- 3-5 years' experience in fee earning
- Strong knowledge of property law, conveyancing processes, and property transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in conveyancing software and legal databases
- Attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Client-focused, with a dedication to delivering exceptional service

Experience Required
Minimum of 3 years' PQE in property law
