Senior Residential Support Workers
Location: Heaton Chapel, SK4
Hours: Full-Time - 37 hours per week + Overtime Available
Salary: £13 per hour + Sleep-in Allowance £50 per shift
Our client is seeking two Senior Residential Support Workers to join their team in Stockport, providing care and support for children/young people (ages 8-17) with complex needs, challenging behaviours, or learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Shift work in a residential care home supporting long-term care and transitions to semi-independent living
* Leading and supervising staff teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, policies, and regulations
* Contributing to care planning, risk assessments, reviews, and participating in staff meetings
Requirements:
* Level 3 Diploma in "Children and Young People's Workforce" or equivalent (essential)
* Experience working in a residential setting with children/young people (essential)
* Experience in a senior role, leading and supervising staff
* Full driving license (preferred)
* Knowledge of County Lines, CSE and Complex Trauma
* Team Teach training preferred but not essential as training will be given
