Job Title: Site Manager
Location: North West
Salary: £37,000 - £47,000 + package
Overview:
My client are recruiting for a Site Manager to join their team as they prepare for an exceptionally busy year. The successful candidate will oversee large refurbishment projects (most valued at over £2 million) in the Manchester and North West region. The role requires a strong trade background, with additional experience in civil works such as steel structures. You will be actively involved on-site, ensuring projects run smoothly and meet safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing daily site operations, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard
Conducting Q&A, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
Managing site staff and labour requirements
Monitoring and following project processes and schedules
Being actively involved on-site
Coordinating with trades and managing subcontractors
Ensuring the timely delivery of projects and problem-solving as required
Requirements:
Trade background in joinery or drylining (preferred)
Experience in refurbishments and civil works (especially steel structures)
Ability to manage large-scale projects, working on-site and interacting with teams directly
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Flexibility for potential weekend work when required
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, typically 7 am to 5 pm (Weekends may be required depending on project needs.)
