Unit Manager
Location: Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Staffordshire
Salary: £23.04 - £24.13PH (Equivalent to £52,715 - £55,209 per annum + £2.00 overtime rates
Hours: 33 or 44 - days only clinical and allocated supernumerary time
Shifts: 8.00am - 8.00pm

Unit Manager required for an exceptional service which has just achieve a "Good" CQC rating and is also purple bow for Palliative care. A historical nursing home service cares for elderly residents aged 65 and above; some of whom are living with dementia, physical disabilities, sensory impairment, mental health conditions alongside requiring palliative care. We are searching for an incredible Unit Manager! The Unit Manager will receive an excellent induction from the current Unit manager.

The Unit Manager vacancy is for a general nursing unit with 48 beds in total with excellent staffing to patient ratio's, robust training program supported with excellent induction. As the Unit Manager working here you will be responsible of high standards of care.

Your role as Unit Manager will include:
* Staff allocations although you will have support with the rota
* Mentorship, training and development
* Family liaison and MDT liaison
* Assistance with admissions
* Auditing and clinical governance
* Safeguarding and risk assessment
* Support with any training needs
