Salary: £10.42 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30-15:00 - 30 minute unpaid break
Contract: Temp to Perm
Our client, a leading furniture manufacturing company based in Oldham, is looking for Furniture Manufacturing Operatives to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for producing a huge range of full and processed sheet material, vinyl wrapped furniture doors and furniture fittings.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating machinery to process sheet material, furniture doors and fittings
Quality checking finished products and identifying any defects
Assembling furniture using hand tools and following production plans
Loading and unloading materials and products
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Key Requirements:
Previous experience working in a furniture manufacturing environment
Knowledge of hand tools and machinery used in furniture manufacturing
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
