My client is a UK Manufacturer & Supplier of Chemical Biocides & Disinfectants who develops and markets products dedicated to food and animal safety. It is a leader in the development of animal genomics, along with the manufacturing and distribution of a variety of animal healthcare products, including hygiene products, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, veterinary instruments, wound care, and aquaculture.
This site specialises in the manufacture of chemical biocides and preventive hygiene solutions for professional use.

We are currently looking to recruit Process Operatives to our production facility. This role requires an individual who can work well on their own initiative and as part of a team, responding directly to the Production Supervisor.

The main responsibilities of this role include;

* Weighing products
* Follow and adhere strictly to instructions on batch production sheet
* Correct and accurate weighing of raw materials
* Avoid cross-contamination during measuring, weighing, charging and blending
* Handling weight of up to 25 kilos
* Update MRP with all jobs completed and file documentation as required
* Packing off final products into various sized containers
* Preparing materials for orders / production on a daily basis
* Report problems with the production process or equipment to supervisors, managers and maintenance engineers

* Load & offloading vehicles when required
* Notify management of any damage to property
* Assist production and packing departments as required
* Health and Safety in line with Company policy (PPE)
* Maintain clean and hygienic work environment
* Assist with routine and full stock takes
* Any other reasonable task as may be requested by management
Essential Requirements

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30.

Computer literacy in Word & Excel, Manufacturing Software would also be advantageous.
