Job description
My Client offer innovative direct mail production, print and design services throughout the UK and work with independent and blue chip companies.
From all of this, we require a casual Picking and Packing Operative to assist us with our growth and the work we deliver.
Daily duties will include:
-Picking and packing of requested orders when required for varying jobs
-To assist with any supporting ad-hoc tasks when required
-Ensuring accuracy of information for order
-Identifying and alerting management to any errors or issues during the picking and packing process
-Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs
-Working with managers and colleagues to implement the company's policies and goals
-Identifying training needs
-Follow the company working practice in relation to Health & Safety, checking safety of equipment prior to use and reporting accidents and/or injuries immediately
-To encourage a positive culture for Health, Safety & Environment and ensure effective systems are in place
-To ensure the Safety of themselves and others.
-Maintain a clean working environment
They require packing staff to undertake a verity of duties from preparing and packing goods to other warehouse duties.
Candidates will ideally have previous packing experience and have a good level of communication skills.
You'll work in a team, covering shifts for a 37.5-hour week over 5 days on either lates or earlies:
Earlies
Monday to Friday: 08:30-16:30
Sunday: 08:30-16:30
Lates
Monday to Friday 10.30-18.30
Sunday 10.30-18.30
