Job Title: Site Foreman
Location: Nationwide
Start Date: December
Salary: £23 per hour (CIS)
Accommodation & Mileage: Provided, with use of a van from the office for work-related travel.

Our client is a growing business with a strong portfolio of projects across the UK, currently. They specialize in high and low-value fit-out projects, with a particular focus on being a turn key provider for their clients. The company is rapidly expanding, and they're looking for a knowledgeable and reliable Foreman with a joinery background to join their team.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Site Foreman who is a qualified Joiner with an SMSTS or SSSTS certification. The ideal candidate should be an experienced joiner who is looking to manage and oversee smaller teams in a hands-on capacity. This is a dynamic, site-based role requiring a proactive approach and a strong understanding of both the practical and managerial aspects of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a point of contact for basic queries.
Manage site safety and operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Conduct inductions, risk assessments, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Monitor the work environment, providing guidance and maintaining focus on high-quality workmanship.
Working on the tools.
Ideal Candidate:
Joiner by trade with experience in site-based projects.
Holds an SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
Experience in managing health and safety and conducting risk assessments.
Strong communication skills, both with team members.
Proactive, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage small teams effectively.
Work Schedule:
Hours: 12-hour shifts, working continuously until project completion (with 2-4 days off after each project). For longer projects (over two weeks), expect a rotation of 12 days on and 2 days off. Bank holidays may be included.
Training and Development:
Induction on the first day, followed by buddy training for the first month.
Opportunities for paid training, including certifications, to ensure continued professional development.
