Position: Commercial Account Handler

Location: Bolton

Salary: Up to £30,000 (Depending on Experience)

About the Role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a leading, award-winning commercial insurance broker. This fast-paced, varied role will see you building strong relationships with both new and existing commercial clients across all sectors. You will play an integral part in helping clients secure the right insurance cover for their businesses, handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims throughout the full insurance cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing commercial clients.
  • Manage the full insurance cycle for your book of clients, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims.
  • Offer expert advice and assistance to clients, explaining complex insurance details in a clear and understandable way.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of client management.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client needs and queries promptly.
  • Support clients with any adjustments and claims, liaising between clients and insurers.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in a Commercial Account Handler role or similar within the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach to handling client relationships.
  • Solid understanding of commercial insurance products and processes.
  • Ability to handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims efficiently.
