Our client who are a Stockport-based manufacturing and installation company are seeking a Assembly Operative to become an integral part of their successful journey.
They are a thriving company with a semi - skilled team that manufactures a range of specialist equipment for installation across the UK. Based in a large, well-equipped workshop in Stockport, they provide an opportunity to learn, grow, and develop new skills, both in manufacturing and on-site installations.
Working on a bench, you will be required to work to drawing specifications. You will be measuring, cutting and be expected to use adhesives and monitor quality control. Log jobs and maintain accurate manufacturing records.
Essential: Experience in a workshop environment. Proficiency with tools like drills and other general equipment. Physical fitness for manual labor tasks. A good level of education (GCSE Maths & English).
Preferred: Full UK driving license. CSCS card or safety site passport. Flexibility to work away from home.
Benefits: Pay: £11.80/hour (£12.80/hour when fitting on-site) Expenses Paid: All costs covered when working away. Incentives: Regular overtime and a bonus scheme.
Standard Hours: Mon-Thu: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm and Fri: 7:00 am - 12:00 pm
