CNC Machine Programmer/Operator Skelmersdale Temp to Perm £17-£20 per hour Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm Friday 8am to 3.30pm
Time Recruitment are currently recruitng an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator for our fantastic engineering client based in Skelmersdale. Our client is an industry leader in their field and are looking for a CNC programmer with experience of using fanuc software. This role will mainly be working on a CNC turner and previous experience on a milling machine would be desirable. Experience with CNC programming (ideally using Fanuc), machine operation, and interpreting engineering drawings is essential. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are key to this role. Duties of this role will include:
Set up and operate CNC turning machines
Program CNC machines using G-code
Interpret engineering drawings and ensure quality standards are met
Maintain and troubleshoot machinery as needed
Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines
The successful candidate must:
Have proven CNC programming experience
Have worked on Fanuc
Be able to interpret drawings
Have great attention to detail
Be hard-working
Be willing to learn
