Corporate Insurance Account Handler

Location: Manchester City Centre

Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum

Benefits: 25 days annual leave, exam support if required, paid professional body memberships

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Insurance Account Handler to join our client in Manchester City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and organised individual to provide essential support to Account Executives while managing and developing client relationships. You will play a key role in ensuring the retention and growth of accounts while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Client Support: Provide technical and administrative assistance to Account Executives, ensuring company standards and philosophies are consistently maintained.

- Retention and Growth: Contribute to the development of a profitable and growing account, ensuring client retention while supporting the acquisition of new business.

- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, promoting the company's image and ensuring the highest levels of service delivery.

- Client Knowledge: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of clients' industries, business operations, insurance histories, and current policies.

- Bespoke Insurance Solutions: Support Account Executives in designing tailored insurance solutions for clients, including pre-writing technical risk analysis and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of policy coverage, clauses, and exclusions.

- Policy Documentation: Produce and progress policy documentation for agreed cases, ensuring accurate and timely file management (both manual and electronic).

- Risk Presentations: Prepare and present risk information to insurers and clients, supporting effective communication and decision-making.

- Sales Development: Assist in identifying and pursuing cross-selling opportunities, contributing to the positive sales development of designated clients.

- Market Awareness: Stay informed of emerging markets for cover placement and actively explore new opportunities.

- Compliance: Adhere to the company's Procedures Manual and regulatory requirements at all times.

Candidate Requirements:

- Previous experience in a corporate insurance account handling role.

- Strong knowledge of insurance products, policy coverage, clauses, and exclusions.

- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.

- Confident communicator, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

- Familiarity with compliance requirements and regulatory standards.

- Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for account development and cross-selling.
