The Role:
As a pre-litigation paralegal in our Housing Disrepair Department, you will play a key role in all aspects of the claims process, from initial client contact to case resolution. Your responsibilities will include:
Drafting legal documents, including letters of claim, witness statements, and court documents.
Conducting legal research and analysing cases.
Assisting solicitors with all aspects of housing disrepair claims.
Managing a caseload under supervision, ensuring compliance with deadlines and client expectations.
Liaising with clients, experts, and other parties involved in the claims process.
Attending court hearings and legal proceedings.
Maintaining accurate records and case management files.
Requirements:
Experience as a fee earner in Housing Disrepair claims or the claims industry.
Strong knowledge of housing disrepair law and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a busy caseload and work effectively under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
A commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to clients.
Salary:
Dependent on experience, circa £25,000.00.
