Role Description
This Full-Time role of Laser Operator is an on-site role located in Birmingham coleshill Area, West Midlands, England. The Laser Operator will accurately and safely operate the laser machine to cut steel sheets according to blueprints, ensuring the final output meets the client's requirement. Additionally, the Laser Operator will maintain the machinery for maximum productivity and material yield.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in Operating Laser machines in the steel industry. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings accurately. * Demonstrated knowledge of machine set-up, and maintenance. * Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality output. * Proven ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. * Basic computer knowledge for maintaining production logs. * Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. * Ability to perform physical duties, standing or moving around for extended periods, and lifting/operating heavy machinery.
